Medical Interpreter Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Medical Interpreter:

  • Fluency in at least two relevant languages.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with translation.
