PDMS Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of professional draftsmen and to allocate, prioritize and check work of a team of draftsmen.
Develop designs from project specifications and to check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
Communicate and interface with other project design and engineering disciplines.
Complete PDMS drawings arrangement and piping isometrics and to check other departments design drawings and supplier equipment drawings.
Prepare progress report for the project piping area/unit supervisor.
Prepare line lists (LDT). Valve lists and drawings lists, specialty item lists, tie-in lists, hookup lists and pipe support lists.
Review project specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams and supplier information

B.Sc in Engineering or a recognized drafting engineering qualification
Additional certificate in design is desirable.
Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
