Tanner Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Tanner:

High School Diploma
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
Ability to accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
Persistence
Ability to work with minimal supervision
