The role and function of a Transfer Agent includes the following duties and responsibilities:

Meeting with company directors and financial managers to discuss stock purchases and transfers.
Providing advice on purchasing of securities.
Evaluating financial markets and assessing the performance of particular securities.
Monitoring finances to offer recommendations for public offerings, mergers, and acquisitions.
Drafting and presenting stock and securities reports.
Buying and selling stocks and bonds.
Buying and selling commodities.
