Volunteer Mentor Duties & Responsibilities

The role and function of a Volunteer Mentor includes the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Discerning and addressing psychosocial difficulties.
  • Steering frequent goal-setting exercises.
  • Submitting periodic Mentorship reports.
  • Undergoing scheduled and impromptu supervision.
  • Establishing and bolstering your Mentees' social support structures.
  • Deterring your Mentees from partaking in illicit endeavors.
  • Providing sage emotional and practical relief.
