Yehuda Music Consults - A music consulting firm in Lagos is looking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Music Teacher Location: Lagos Job Description We are looking for candidates that will perform the following duties:

• Train, rehearse and lead students in school and community musical programs
• Understand potentials and skills of each student and guide individual student according to their skills
• Develop and maintain an effective music educational program for students Maintain student behavioral standards to ensure productive and disciplined environment during group rehearsals, practices, and performances
• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual pupils' needs and examination syllabuses
• Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to pupils/students
• Teach music courses to students/pupils including voice, tone, tempo and rhythm skills Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability and aptitude
• Collaborate with school administration/management in setting up an effective musical programs for civic functions and school productions

• Passionate & result-oriented team building skill
• Performance evaluation skill
• Music teacher must be able to play at least 4 (four) musical instrument and majorly a keyboard
• A minimum of 2 -3 years music teaching experience in a reputable instituition
• Strong background in music theory and musicianship
• Knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement it
• Leadership and effective supervision skill
