We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Channel Distribution Development Officer (FMCG) Location: Lagos Summary

  • The Channel Distribution Development Officer will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing reseller recruitment strategy.
  • The Channel Distribution Development Officer would develop and provide leadership and direction for new resellers to ensure they meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing day to day channel operations in both local and international markets.
  • Understanding changing and differing priorities depending on territories and how these impact channel marketing.
  • Ensure that customers are up-to-date with new products and enhancements.
  • Address sales related issues and conflicts in timely manner.
  • Evaluate existing marketing programs and recommend changes for improvements.
  • Inform management on potential competitive threats and propose corrective actions.
  • Perform business reviews and provide improvements.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within allotted marketing budget.
  • Provide excellent customer services to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Responsible for developing, driving and implementing channel marketing activity for selected groups of channel partners.
  • Create a market for channel distributors.
  • Developing and overseeing the marketing plan for channels assigned by the organization.
  • Implementing channel campaigns in order to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
  • Working closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights.
  • Develop profitable marketing plan based on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Working closely with the product and corporate marketing teams in other to support brand development and experiential activities.
  • Utilize data and shopper insights to provide recommendations to drive category distribution and market share
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualification
  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in the FMCG sector.

  • Good and effective communication and negotiation skills, leadership.
  • Willingness to travel at any given time.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and Team Management skills.
  • Budget management experience.
