Technical Civil Manager in a Leading Construction Company

Adexen Recruitment Agency - Our client, a leading Construction company, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below for its operations in Nigeria:

Job Title: Technical Civil Manager - Expatriate Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Responsibilities

Coordination of support units e.g. Quantity Surveyors, QM, Surveyors...
Design management for civil projects
Cost controlling
Estimation of small size projects
Technical management of the civil department
Regular reporting on civil activities (performance, management...)
Updating on major resources statistics (equipment, staff histograms...)
Regular updates on main material forecasts (concrete, reinforcement, asphalt, aggregates...)

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum 5-10 years experience in a senior management role
Previous experience in emerging markets / Nigeria
Fluency in English
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology
Master's degree will be a plus
Previous experience in a similar position within a construction company
