The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Babysitter:

  • High school diploma.
  • Undisputed legal capacity.
  • Demonstrable successful babysitting experience.
  • Ability to issue age-appropriate directions.
  • Observance of caregivers'/parents' babysitting-related requests.
  • First-hand experience with navigating child-related emergencies is beneficial.
  • Perceptive to major safety-related threats.
