Achievers University, Owo was approved and licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2007. It commenced academic activities on 2nd April 2008. The University, which is situated in a serene and conducive environment, has matriculated 15 sets of students and graduated 12 sets of 'Achievers' who are making their marks in all spheres of human endeavors. The University now fully operates at its permanent site at Km 1, Idasen-Ute Road, Owo. The health sciences are some of the highly patronized programs in the University, and Management continuously seeks avenues to strengthen them through the provision of the necessary state-of-the-art equipment as well as the recruitment of exceptionally qualified staff.

For the need to reposition the programs as well as sustain the University’s remarkable achievements, we are currently seeking exceptionally qualified staff with outstanding integrity and demonstrable leadership qualities to join our highly motivated team in the capacities below:

Qualifications and Experience
1.) Professor

• Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with at least ten (10) years of teaching, research, or professional experience in a university or any other tertiary institution.
• Candidate must have a record of substantial publications, evidence of postgraduate supervision, and the ability to initiate and develop research.
• In addition, the candidate must possess a good measure of academic leadership, and teamwork as well as some administrative experience in working with interdisciplinary groups.
• Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.

2.) Reader (Associate Professor)

• Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with at least eight (8) years post-qualification experience in teaching, research, and postgraduate supervision.
• Candidate must have a record of substantial publications, evidence of postgraduate supervision, and the ability to initiate and develop research.
• In addition, the candidate must possess a good measure of academic leadership, and teamwork as well as some administrative experience in working with interdisciplinary groups.
• Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.

3.) Senior Lecturer

• Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with a minimum of six (6) years post-qualification experience of teaching and research in a university or any recognized tertiary institution.
• Candidate must have a good number of publications and show evidence of research and academic leadership.
• Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.

4.) Lecturer I

• Candidate must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant subject areas with at least three (3) years post-qualification experience in teaching, and research as well as a good number of publications in reputable journals.
• Holders of a good master's degree with a substantial number of publications and teaching experience can also apply.
• Evidence of Google scholarship will be an added advantage.

Salaries and Conditions of Service
Salaries, allowances, and other benefits are as approved by the Governing Council of Achievers University and markedly above what operates in public universities.
