Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
• Maintain orderly and well-organized financial documents and records.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Experience in proposal writing and bid collation will be an added advantage.
• Record financial transactions in accounting software or spreadsheets.
• Ensure that all financial data is properly organized and accessible.
• Process invoices and verify the accuracy of billing information.
• Monitor accounts receivable, send out invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to identify discrepancies.
• Generate financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Preparation and monitoring of budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary Range
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month
