Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ode Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support our accounting department. 
• The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Support the audit process by providing required documentation.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience as an Account Officer or similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes:

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a plus.

Salary 
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly
