Accountant and Auditor at Labana Rice Mills Limited

Labana Rice Mills Limited is an integrated rice mill that was established in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State in 2012. It commenced production in November 2014 with two independent plants that have the capacity to produce 400 MT/Day. The third additional plant that is currently under construction has the capacity to produce 300 MT/Day of parboiled rice. These added up to 700 MT/Day thereby making the company largest rice mill in Africa. Labana Rice Mills Limited is one of the pioneer and leading rice mill in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant and Auditor

Location: Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi
Employment Type: Full Time

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Accountants and Auditors will report to the Head of Finance and Accounts and Audit Manager respectively.
• The accountants will be responsible for book keeping and reports preparation, while the Internal Auditors will be responsible for financial audits, safeguarding company's assets, preventing frauds, identifying discrepancies, recommend process improvements and ensure compliances with laid down policies particularly those relating to financials.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Candidate should be a graduate in related field of study, with 2 - 5 years working experience on the job.
• Candidates must also be computer literates in Microsoft office suite.
