We also offer consultancy for all your generator-related questions. AIG can offer EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction).

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Brief

• We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. An experienced full time (Female) Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management.
• You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
• To ensure success, Accountants should be prompt, honest detail-oriented, professional, and analytical. Top candidates will have excellent presentation skills with the ability to successfully communicate complex quantitative data to decision-makers

Responsibilities

• Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
• Examining expenses submitted by employees
• Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
• Creating company financial reports with the above information included
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Reconciling of account with OEM
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Provide support and additional company presence at national and regional industry trade shows
• Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
• Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
• Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data
• Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a National Diploma / ICAN ATS II in Accounting or related field with 3-5 years experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office with strong skills in excel
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
• Ethical behavior.
• Attention to detail.
• Higher education or experience may be preferred.
• Special licenses or certification may be required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
