Job Title: Accountant with ERP System Expertise
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• This role focuses on managing the organization’s accounting functions using ERP systems like Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, and QuickBooks.
• An Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and system optimization to improve operational efficiency.
• The ideal candidate possesses deep ERP system knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to drive financial process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee accounting operations, financial statement preparation, month/year-end closings, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
• ERP System Management: Implement, maintain, and customize ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with business modules, automating workflows, and troubleshooting.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze financial reports, create dashboards, and use ERP systems for strategic planning.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, and project future financial performance.
• Process Improvement: Lead optimization projects, automate tasks, and ensure adoption of new ERP features.
• Audit & Compliance: Manage audits, ensure compliance with regulations, and implement internal controls in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications, ACCA or ICAN are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounting or financial management, including ERP systems such as Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, or QuickBooks. Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and cash flow management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, ERPNext, QuickBooks), advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong analytical and organizational abilities, and capability to map financial processes within ERP systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
