Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)

Role Overview

• MagikWorld Global Services is seeking a detail-oriented and result-driven Accountant to join our growing team in Gwarinpa, Abuja.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• This role plays a vital part in supporting the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Post and reconcile journal entries, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.

Budgeting & Internal Control:

• Assist in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring.
• Maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
• Advise management on cost control and financial efficiency.

Accounts Receivable & Payable:

• Manage invoicing, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely settlements of obligations.

Reconciliation & Audit Support:

• Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
• Identify and correct accounting discrepancies and errors.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 2–3 years of proven accounting experience (experience in service or trading company preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Must reside in Abuja, preferably Gwarinpa or nearby areas
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
