Malaria Consortium (MC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention, control, and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases in Africa and Southeast Asia. MC works in close collaboration with communities, governments, academic institutions, and both local and international partners to deliver evidence-based public health interventions. Malaria Consortium’s technical expertise plays a key role in strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems, supporting informed decision-making, strategic planning, and the overall enhancement of health systems—thereby contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable economic development.
As part of the ongoing scale-up of the Safety and Antimicrobial Resistance Mass Administration of Azithromycin (SARMAAN) project, implementation is being expanded to Adamawa and Gombe States in Nigeria. The intervention involves the biannual administration of Azithromycin to children aged 0–59 months during the malaria transmission season, focusing on areas with high infant mortality rates. To support the upcoming campaign across all Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Adamawa and Gombe States, short-term Finance Support Assistants are urgently required. These roles, lasting two months, will be crucial in managing large-scale payment processing, maintaining accurate training documentation, and handling day-to-day operational finance tasks. Their support will be vital to ensuring the campaign is delivered smoothly and on schedule.
