Job Title: Administrative Officer

Job Description

  • An NGO seeks to engage the services of an individual who is self-motivated, fast learner, professional attitude, enthusiastic, committed and easily adaptable to a new environment to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and participate in fundraising/proposal and grant writing.
  • Recruiting of volunteers.
  • Perform administrative duties and troubleshoot.
  • Content creator
  • Project management
  • Participate in meetings and plenary sessions to discuss matters of interest for the growth of the organization.
  • Participate and support all the activities/projects organized and promoted by the organization.
  • Passionately pursue and build new and viable working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Raise awareness about the organization and elicit interest in KIR Foundation’s projects.
  • Increase the overall performance of KIR Foundation and its impact in society.
  • Constantly learn, improve, and share knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
  • Work with other team members on projects.

Requirements / Skills

  • B.Sc or HND and NYSC Certificate and history of community service during NYSC.
  • 0 - 1 year relevant work experience.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal) be able to receive and give proper feedback.
  • The ability to understand and adapt to the hands-on delivery of services offered by the organization.
  • The capability to collaborate with diverse groups, both internal and external.
  • Great ICT (Microsoft suite, internet savvy without getting distracted, social media and basic video editing.
  • Easy access to work (i.e must live within Peter Odili, Abuloma, Amadi- Ama, Trans-Amadi, Rumuomasi, Elekahia, Woji, Rumuola, D/Line, Old GRA, Aggrey Road, and Ogbunabali).
  • Age range; 30 years and below
  • Candidate must have an android phone
  • Nonprofit experience or membership of a recognized volunteer association is a major advantage.
  • The willingness to adapt to the organization’s culture.

  • A professional attitude to work both in physical appearance and behavior.

Salary
N65,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
