The Center’s goal is to promote inquiry-based learning and hands-on laboratory experiences that prepare teachers, students, and families for modern genomics and biotechnology innovations in agricultural and medical research.

Job Title: Assistant Director, Senior Forensic Research Scientist (CeDFOCI)

About the Role

• We are seeking a visionary, internationally recognized leader in forensic sciences to serve as the Assistant Director of CeDFOCI. 
• The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio of real-world forensic applications—ranging from criminal investigations, paternity testing, to advanced genetic diagnostics. 
• As the face of the institution, you’ll drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and national representation.

Key Requirements

• PhD Degree or equivalent in Forensic Science, Molecular Biology, or related fields
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in leadership roles in forensic institutions
• Global certification(s) in forensic and genetic sciences
• Strong communication and public representation skills
• Proven expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams

Salary
N1,200,000 - N1,500,000 / Month (Negotiable based on experience and will be discussed).
