Job Title: Assistant Revenue Manager

Job Purpose

  • To support the development and execution of revenue management strategies that maximize market share and profitability.
  • This involves daily monitoring of inventory, competitor pricing analysis, and demand forecasting to ensure the "right product is sold to the right customer at the right time."

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports (e.g., RevPAR, ADR, and Occupancy for hotels). Identify trends and anomalies in booking patterns.
  • Channel Management: Ensure price parity across all third-party platforms and troubleshoot any connectivity issues between the Property Management System (PMS) and Channel Managers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to align promotional offers with revenue goals.
  • Pricing & Inventory Management: Assist in setting daily BAR (Best Available Rate) and managing inventory across all distribution channels (OTAs, GDS, and Direct).
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing and local market demand (events, holidays, etc.) to recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual revenue forecasts and budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in revenue management, reservations, or front office operations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
    • Experience with Revenue Management Systems (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and PMS (e.g., Opera).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights.
