African Center for Innovation and Leadership Development (ACILD) is a development, non-governmental organization registered in Abuja, Nigeria and Toronto, Canada with offices in Nairobi, Toronto and Abuja. It was created to provide the finest resources for fostering innovation and leadership in Africa through the empowerment of science and technology researchers and leaders, especially youth and women. Our hope is that this capacity building will trickle down to improved food security, poverty alleviation and overall economic development within the continent. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Audio-Visual/ Media Practitioner Location: Abuja Job Description The Next Einstein Forum (NEF) in collaboration with African Center for Innovation and Leadership Development (ACILD) is looking to hire an AV company to provide video and photo services for our Africa Science Week 2018 that will be held in Abuja, Nigeria from 23-26 October. The event includes:

  • A debate competition
  • Science expo
  • STEM Road-show
  • Women in science talk-show
  • STEM workshop/Bootcamp
Responsibilities
  • We require a photo and videographer to take candid action photos for all events, provide 2-3 minutes video summaries for each event and a full length feature for things like Ted Talks or important discussions.
