Position Descriptions
  • We are looking for a Crane Operator to be responsible for operating various types of cranes, from stationary to traveling overhead cranes, and truck cranes.
  • The Crane Operator’s responsibilities include knowledge of lever and pedal control, driving cranes to the worksite, setting up the manufacturer’s operator’s manual, inspecting the crane for safety daily, and operating the crane under general supervision.
  • You should be able to lift and lower materials with precision, and transport heavy equip
Job Responsibilities
  • Operating the crane under supervision.
  • Inspecting the crane to ensure its safety. Performing routine maintenance.
  • Carrying tools for running repairs.
  • Understanding and executing the job billing process.
  • Driving the crane to a worksite.

Position Descriptions
  • We are looking for skilled Machinists / Welders / Riggers to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities and construction sites.
  • You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures and parts with a great deal of precision.
Job Responsibilities
  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

  • Trade Test 1 in respective function with 5 to 10 years experience.

Job Title: Fireman and Fire Engine Driver Location: Lagos Business: Refinery Function / Domain: Health and Safety Position available for: Both Slot: 2 Openings
Position Description
  • Firefighting and Rescue Operations in Hydrocarbon Industry and sustain continuously improve his best performance in fire prevention and fire protection.
Job Responsibilities
  • Carry-out routine fire patrol in the Refinery site.
  • Ensuring that all emergency and firefighting equipment are in a ready and fit-to-use state at all times.
  • Turn out to every fire scene within the terminal and outside the terminal as shall be directed.
  • Initiate the firefighting/ fire suppression through the deployment of equipment not limited to the fire engine alone. Carry-out daily routine maintenance checks on the fire appliance, water tanker and other ancillary equipment.
  • Responsible for replenishing water and foam compound in the fire appliance after every turn out. Responsible for driving the fire engine/water tanker, to and fro every fire scene and for other operations as shall be directed.
  • Participate in salvage and rescue operations to limit loss/injury to equipment and personal during any incident.
  • Perform stand-by duties to monitor discharge/loading operations of flammables and volatile chemicals. Conduct fire evacuation drills bi-annually and ensure good awareness of the terminal’s emergency procedures.
  • Carry-out other duties as assigned. Competence Requirements Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • To turnout and fight all types of emergencies like fire, gas leak, spillage, rescue and structural collapse etc.
  • To maintain firefighting equipment and installations to its best performance as designed.

  • Holder of Nigerian Certificate of Education / HND.
  • Six Month Fire Training certificate from recognized Fire Training Institute of Nigeria
  • Candidate must have current Driver’s License for Fire Engine category.
  • Satisfactorily demonstration use of firefighting skills with Firefighting Appliances / Fire Tenders.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a large manufacturing industry which has fire protection system including external fire-hydrant system, sprinkler system, foam spray system and firefighting trucks

Position Descriptions
  • Firefighting and Rescue Operations in Hydrocarbon Industry and sustain continuously improve his best performance in fire prevention and fire protection.
  • A challenging & key role with the leading Oil Refining Company, where the incumbent will lead and develop the Fire & Rescue emergency team to ensure readiness to respond immediately to Fire, Hydrocarbon and Toxic Gas Release, Vehicle Accidents, Rescue and Fire Loss Control related situations in the Construction Project facilities on a 24/7 basis
Job Responsibilities
  • Responds 24 hours per day to all emergency incidents involving control of fire and rescue or other pertinent incidents, supervises all activities at incident sites, investigates all related incidents and prepares reports including findings and recommendations.
  • Command and Control of the activities assigned to emergency response teams, including Fire & Rescue.
  • Ensures all aspects of emergency preparedness are in place and appropriate for the identified risks, including the use of Pre-Emergency Plans and simulated emergency incident exercise programs.
  • Directs and monitors all testing and maintenance to comply with integrity and certification requirements, including fire systems, life support equipment, SCBA, PPE, communication equipment, fire fighting vehicles, fire detection and alarm systems, fire pumps, ring main hydrants, fire water monitors, rim seal foam firefighting systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for conducting firefighting & Rescue training of employees, contract workers, vehicle maintenance, foam stocks, PPE, SCBA and other firefighting equipment.
Desired Qualification / Preferred Competencies
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) graduate from a recognized Institution of Nigeria.
  • Six Month Fire Training certificate from recognized Fire Training Institute of Nigeria
  • 15 years’ experience involved in firefighting / fire protection and use of fire and life support equipment.
  • Possession of valid Nigerian driving license is essential.
  • Very good knowledge of English language. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Fire Brigade physical fitness requirements, training certificates & examination qualifications.

Position Description

Job Responsibilities
