We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cargo Handling Officer

Locations: Abuja (FCT); Ikeja, Lagos; Abeokuta, Ogun; Ibadan, Oyo and Osogbo, Osun. 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Load, pack, and secure goods onto trucks using forklifts, cranes, or manual handling methods.
• After probation, operate heavy-duty trucks for interstate and regional deliveries.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, promptly reporting any vehicle issues.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fueling, and deliveries.
• Ensure cargo is properly lashed, strapped, and stowed for safe transport.
• Work with Workshop and Operations teams to confirm vehicles are safe before dispatch.
• Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in all activities.

Requirements

• Valid Class G Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks in the logistics/haulage industry.
• Educational certificate (if any).
• Police clearance letter.
• Traceable guarantors.
• Medical certificate of fitness.
• Strong knowledge of interstate routes and ability to drive long hours.
• Must be willing to relocate and work in any parts of the country
• Minimum age: 30 years and above.
• Must be literate (ability to read and write is compulsory).
• Recommendation letter from a previous employer.
