Bonjour Meals Limited (BML) is one of the leading companies in the bakery and fast-food industry in the Niger Delta, with its head office located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. Founded and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (RC1356092) on 22nd August, 2016 by Mr. Utoro O. Morrison (Founder and GMD/CEO) and supported by his wife, Mrs. Glory Utoro (MD, Bonjour Fast Food Ltd & Bonjour Baking Ingredients Ltd), the duo serve as directors of the companies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our Port Harcourt operations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong integrity, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash collections, receipts, and disbursements accurately.
• Maintain proper documentation of all transactions with supporting invoices.
• Provide timely updates to management on financial discrepancies or irregularities.
• Ensure compliance with BML’s financial procedures and internal controls.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Excel.
• Assist the Accounts Department with reconciliation of sales, expenses, and balances.

Key Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND/HND/B.Sc in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, reconciliation sheets, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling cash and records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a cashier, accounts, or finance support role is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, cash management, and proper documentation.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare daily sales summaries, and support account reconciliation.
