Ikeja Golf Club, a premium recreation place in Lagos, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Club Head of Accounts/Financial Accountant Location: Ikeja, Lagos Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from a recognized university
• Master's Degree preferred with concentration in business or administration with accounting major or minor and course work in financial analysis and auditing.
• Five to seven years of professional accounting experience with at least two of those years at the Controller level or equivalent in club operation.
• Experience supervising a staff/team of accountants and bookkeepers.
• Experience overseeing information technology operation preferred
• ICAN/ACCA

• Consistently monitors cash flows
• Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all book keepings, payroll, budgets, statistical analysis and probability statements.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to analyze investment returns.
• Knowledge of pertinent federal and state employment laws and practices.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situation.

• Reports to: The Captain and Board of Ikeja Golf Club “The Club”. The Captain will act as the Club Manager's line manager
• Liaise with: Committee members, sub-committees and other volunteer post holders, Club Professionals, Administrative Assistant, Bar Supervisor, Franchise Caterer and Senior Green keeper.

• Clean driving licence
• 10 years operational experience as the manager in a golf club or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
• A university recognised qualification
• MBA qualification
• Sound Knowledge of the Rules of Golf
• Knowledge of website content management
