Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE )is a legally registered incorporated Trustees, a women-led, a local not-for-profit, faith-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Communication Volunteer / Associate

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Identifying and effectively communicating project success by developing success stories, case studies, and short documentaries.
• Update and maintain WEWE’s website, social media platforms, and blogs.
• Engage with mainstream media (Electronic and Print) to increase WEWE’s visibility and promote project impact.
• Coordinate Outreach and events with experience in developing press releases, media coverage, press fact sheets, developing scene setters, liaise with US Embassy public affairs units, and managing print, radio, and TV media relation journalists and website information management.
• Coordinate staff meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes of meetings as required.
• Edit technical and scientific documents and articles (proofreading, copying, designing, line editing, and substantive editing).
• Desktop design and layout of technical documents in compliance with donor branding and marking requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND with 2-4 years experience

Remuneration
The compensation for this position is a fixed fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (NGN 50,000) only per month, which will be prorated to the number of days worked and subject to statutory deductions.
