Job Summary

• We are looking for a creative Content Interns who will be responsible for supporting our content development efforts for our Scooper News platform.

Job Description

• Content Creation: Candidate will be expected to write real-time News or thought-provoking longform contents in assigned categories.
• Editing / Freelancers Operations: Candidate may be assigned to managing freelancers’ network. This includes monitoring of freelance contents, editing for errors, training and giving detailed feedbacks to freelancers to amplify their growth. Candidates must have a good command of English Language.
• Media Monitoring: Monitoring the media for trends, and/or news updates.
• Monitor, identify and collect breaking news and trending topics, send daily push notification based on user behavior and location

Candidate Requirements

• Must live and reside in Lagos.
• First degree in any relevant field of study with at least 1 year experience
• Content writing experience required. Proven journalism experience, preferably news reporting would be a plus.
• Excellent writing and communication skills required.
• A versatile self-starter that can create high-level content strategies while simultaneously executing on content pieces.
• Proven experience with telling a story using words, images, and / or video and an understanding of how to create content that draws an audience.
