We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook / Chef / Caterer

Location: Festac / Apapa / Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance
• Studying each recipes and gathering all necessary ingredients
• Serve delicious food for the satisfaction of consumers
• Visiting sites before events to assess the kitchen facilities and make necessary plans
• Ensuring food remains fresh and is served at a correct temperature
• Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Secondary School Certificate or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
• 1 - 3 years work experience.
• Ability to work in team
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc)
• Very good communication skill.
• Proven experience as cook, chef or caterer
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Must have general knowledge of kitchen related equipment
