Job Description

• As we expand our operations in Lagos, Nigeria, we are seeking a talented and experienced Country Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts in the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and market penetration for 24 Carbon in Lagos, Nigeria.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends in the conservation and environment sector to expand our presence and revenue streams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, environmental organizations, partners, and clients.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify areas for improvement and innovation in our carbon capture and environmental solutions.
• Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management regarding business development activities, achievements, and challenges.
• Lead the negotiation and closing of strategic partnerships, contracts, and sales agreements to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the conservation and environment industry.
• Proactive problem solver with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; familiarity with environmental data analysis tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of Nigeria's business environment, market dynamics, regulations, and cultural nuances related to conservation and environmental initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders in the environmental sector.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.

Salary
N450,000 / month.
