Job Title: Commissioning Instrument Engineer (Quality Control Engineering Services)

Location: Lagos

Job Description
Services to render:

• Process Control & Automation, Instrumentation, Safety Instrumented System

Advance:

• Review, advise and monitor the implementation of Integration & communication links with multiple DCS & Process Automation proprietary system.
• Pre Commissioning and commissioning checks at field device and network level.
• Verification of site activity compliance with approved specifications and Control system performance Asset management suite.
• Integrate Safety Instrumented System with multiple proprietary DCS system and platforms in accordance DEP standards and statutory requirements and analyses and report results.
• Review and assist to develop the Commissioning test protocols covering all Process Automation system Project ITPs, covering all key project activities and work locations
• Monitor, review and report to PQL / PL with respect with SATs, FATs Welding Procedures, Close out of Punch lists.
• Control Loops logic modification and testing Quality related programs, Alarm & Limits, Control loop performance checks, Audit Schedules and Results, etc.
• Coordinate ITP Inspection, FAT and SAT at activities at various sites and vendors, review and comment and assist to implement the design control system logic.

Job Title: Commissioning & Start-Up Support Services Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Provide CSU Technical Support for Safety (HINA) System Upgrade by Project and Asset teams.
• Provide CSU specialist support during site integration of Control and Safety system (SAT)
• Provision of CSU input to the control systems integration strategy
• Provision of CSU input to engineering for the integrated control and safety system
• Provide CSU Specialist support for Control Systems (Delta V) & Safety System (HINA) FAT, engineering and manufacturing of the HINA Safety System.
• Provision of CSU specialist support for Solar Turbine Compressor Mechanical, Air test and Static Leak test.
• During Start Up and early Operation provide support to or is part of the Start Up Team. Provide commissioning input for process system audits.
• Monitoring and review input and administration of CMS database with respect to process  systems.
• Assist with discipline  technical reviews input to development of Operating and Maintenance Manuals and Procedures
• Prepares and implements safety plans for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as compatible elements with construction work safety plans prepared by others
• Take responsibility for all IC & A pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for facilities, pipelines and end-of-line facilities, up to pre-agreed interface points with surface facilities teams.
• Liaise with surface facilities teams and contractors to ensure harmonization of schedules, access etc.

Job Title: Diving and Marine Maintenance Services Engineer - DIVING AP / CSR

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The diving Authorized Person (AP) must verify that site specific contingency plans, supported by assessments, are in place, for all foreseeable emergencies and includes arrangements to recover divers and evacuate diving support vessels.
• Verifying that diving contractors carry out the diving operation in accordance with the Diving SME approved Diving Operations Plan (DOP).
• Confirming through the Shell Permit to Work system and other complimentary permits that the diving contractor is aware of concurrent operations, which may affect the diving operation.
• Understand and verify that the required isolations are in place.
• The diving AP will further verify the original certificates and diving logbooks of the dive team members on site.
• Participate in Risk Assessment meetings.
• Must fully comprehend the task that is to be undertaken, the methodology to be used and be thoroughly conversant with the rules, regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Job Title: Diving and Marine Maintenance Services Engineer - DIVING SME

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Provide competent technical input at the appropriate operation phases to optimize value.
• Provide technical input into the ALARP statement
• Review diving contract requirements and their suitability.
• Participate in technical capability review of tenders.
• Approve Diving Operation Plans (DOPs).
• Monitor contractor compliance with assurance and verification audits.
• Provide technical review to diving incidents and advise the CH on any barrier and control failures.
• Monitor contractor compliance with assurance and verification audits.
• Provide effective HSE management and control advice of SPDC underwater intervention operations
• Assist/advise on any SPDC underwater intervention accidents/incidents or near miss reports, ensure the dissemination of the learning points and monitor the implementation of action items.
• Provide inter-discipline diving advisory service on subaea aspects of exploration, engineering, construction and production systems for SPDC underwater intervention activities.
• Access and approve the competency of Diving Authorized Person.
• Develop competency of local content for all key diving personnel roles.
• The SME shall communicate learning to the PTE to keep abreast off and disseminate to client any technological diving and ROV developments, which way apply to SPDC operations to keep abreast off and disseminate to SPDC any National, International, OPG or INCA diving arid ROy developments, which may apply to client operations.

Job Title: Commissioning & Start-Up Management Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Overseeing completion of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning or commissioning on projects.
• Supporting and supervision of the commissioning team on projects.
• Provides multi-discipline input into the scheduling, designing and planning of projects. in addition, the Commissioning Lead also develops multi-discipline commissioning strategy documents for projects.
• Review, approve and overseeing the installation and design of minor temporary commissioning supplies and systems.
• Review and approve all multi-discipline commissioning processes to ensure they are compliant with the procedures, specifications and standards of the project.
• Ensure that all commissioning procedures follow all appropriate safety practices and procedures and participate in all project and company safety programs.
• Audit commissioning activities regularly to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
• Communicate with the project engineering office in order to make sure that the applicable fabrication drawings are created in accordance with all commissioning requirements.
• Responsible for regularly monitoring and reporting commissioning progress.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Chartered Engineering
• Professionally qualified Engineer (COREN / Engineering Council / European Engineers registered and / or member of professional project management association - Project Management Professional (Preferred)
