We are looking to engage competent and knowledgable candidates to fill the position below:       Job Title: System Analysts (SA) Location: Lagos Slot: 2 Openings Employment types: Project-based Full-time with pensions benefits and medical insurance Job Ref No: PS19-103-200A. Job Responsibilities

  • Support in-house network, server, and platform operating systems, off premises/cloud initiatives and migrations.
  • Maintain network and system documentation.
  • Enforce security policies, initiatives, and compliance reporting.
  • Maintain network and system monitoring tools.
  • Conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and work with clients (SA)
  • Planning and monitoring implementation of system changes, new technology and systems (SA)
Educational Qualification
  • Must be a graduate - B.Sc., HND in a Computer, Engineering or System Science discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
  • Evidence of NYSC service (completed, or in progress)
  • Relevant IT, project management certifications will be an added advantage
Skills and Work experience (Preferences): Note: While work experience is not a requirement, the onus is on the applicant to demonstrate required capability and skills. The following will be added advantage for qualified candidates:
  • Experience in the Cloud administration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud and/or certification will be an added advantage
  • Working knowledge of Multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers and databases.
  • Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments
  • Proficiency in infrastructure, service and application monitoring tools
  • Experience in scripting (BASH, Perl, Powershell, Python, etc) and building required automation
  • SQL/NoSQL, Data Analytics/Machine Learning experience a plus
Skills and Work experience (Essential Requirements):
  • Strong Linux or Windows systems administration skills and/or experience
  • Strong knowledge of network administration (TS)
  • Experience with project management, PM tools, Agile,
  • Knowledge of modeling techniques and tools (SA)
  • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware and software issues and products as required
  • Applicant selected will be subject to background checks police clearance is required if selected for employment
  • Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Ability to participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation, Work may involve sitting for extended periods
  • This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed.
