Sofi's mission is to help people globally gain financial independence. To do so, we develop an app that allows them to seamlessly learn the financial habits that make people wealthy day by day. We are Angel funded and set to launch our app this summer.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Science Intern

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months

Tasks

• As a Data Science Intern, you will help the team develop the innovative platform behind Sofi that will power our user's behavioural transformation.
• We’re looking for candidates who are eager to learn fast and jumpstart their careers in data science.
• You will work in an environment where you can have a significant impact from day 1.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the CTO and a growing team of senior engineers to launch new features
• Be accountable for your tasks and ship new features together with the team
• Learn new technologies and advance your skills fast
• Learn how to effectively collaborate within a remote engineering team

Requirements
What You Will Need:

• Some prior experience with data science can be through online courses
• A passion for data and the willingness to learn new things quickly
• Being comfortable working remotely
• Experience with Python is a plus

Salary

• US$19,000 to US$25,000 / year
