Our client, an International school, located in the Niger Delta/South - of Nigeria but recognized as a world standard school and also which can best described as a co - educational center for children aqed 6 months to 18 years, is looking to employ staff for the 2015 - 2016 cademic session starting September 2015.

The school has a rich curriculum which is a hybrid of the British and Nigerian School curriculum for its students.



Job Title: Head of School

(ref: ST/ED/014)
Role: Have a strategic view of successfully developing and improving the school. Advise the School Board on the formation of the school policies and their implementation.
Requirements: Must possess a minimum of a master's degree in education. This person must also have at least 8 years proven experience of subject specialist teaching. He/ She must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of colleagues and children. It will be an advantage if applicants have previous experience of working overseas in an international setting


Job Title:  School Admin

Role: Organize and manage the administration, support systems and activities that enable the effective running of the school. Also this person will work on committees including academic boards, governing bodies and task groups
Requirements: Possess master's in education/administration plus 8 years' experience in similar position.




Job Title:  Early Years Coordinator

(ref: ST/ED/017)
Role: This person is responsible for coordination of all early childhood education and development services. The Early Years Coordinator is also responsible for providing overall program management assistance.
Requirements: All applicants for positions in the early years section are required to have B.Ed. or its equivalent in any related course + 7 years (min) in teaching early years students.



Job Title:  School Teachers
(ref: ST/ED/018)
Role: School teachers develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. They facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
Requirements: B.Ed. in related course + 5 years (min) in teaching. Note that candidates applying as elementary teachers must have had previous experience of nurturing students through early primary years and into secondary school. Also candidates applying as teachers for the secondary school must have had experience in Cambridge IGCSE.
