Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full time

Role Overview

  • As an experienced Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
  • You will oversee the entire engineering process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring that all technical aspects are executed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
  • Manage the engineering design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between the engineering team and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the engineering phase of projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize engineering processes and enhance project efficiency.

Requirements

  • First Class (Hons) B.Eng/B.Tech or H.N.D Distinction in Mechanical Engineering (must be COREN Registered)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects.
  • 10+ years relevant wok experience.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the EPCIC industry with at least 10 years of verifiable and cognate industrial experience
  • Strong technical background with expertise in engineering design and project management
