Philipanna Foundation is a non-governmental organization that is committed toward child literacy. The foundation complements the efforts of State Ministries of Education in Nigeria, to improve child literacy in rural areas, through language intervention programmes. The programme concentrates on reading, writing and speaking in English language in rural public primary schools. The aim is for pupils to attain meaningful completion of primary education and become lifelong learners.
