Facility Manager at the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors

The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) was founded in 1969 by a group of Nigerians who trained, qualified and practiced in the United Kingdom but who upon returning to Nigeria sensed the urgent need to develop the profession of Quantity Surveying in Nigeria by establishing a parallel body to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors of United Kingdom.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Manager

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

• Planning strategy to ensure efficient management of the facilities of the Institute.
•  Maintaining a proper log of facilities and equipment in the premises and following up their operations/maintenance schedules.
• Providing advice and support to the Institute on Health and Safety requirements and responsibilities.
• Providing a point of contact regarding all Facilities related matters and reacting appropriately in a timely manner.

Job Specification / Qualifications

• BSc. or HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Minimum of five(5) years’ experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience within a facilities management role is essential
