Johnbally Humanitarian Society (JHS) is a non-governmental organization operating in Nigeria, primarily focused on providing humanitarian aid and promoting social change in the conflict-affected Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe (BAY) states

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Finance / Admin Officer

Location: Borno

Role Summary

  • Supports office administration, basic accounting, record-keeping, procurement documentation, and staff support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain petty cash, receipts, payment vouchers, and ledgers.
  • Support staff HR documentation.
  • Maintain asset registers and admin records.
  • Support budget tracking and simple financial reporting.
  • Manage office filing, procurement documentation, and admin tasks.

Academic Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of Excel is required.

General Requirements:

  • Applicants must be 20 years of age or above.
  • Applicants must be residents of Maiduguri Metropolis.
  • Selected individuals will be joining a young and growing NGO, and early team members will play a key role in shaping its structure, programs, and impact.
  • NYSC Corps Members are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Individuals with a passion for humanitarian work, community service, and organizational development are encouraged to express interest.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
