Job Title: Finance and Fundraising Officer

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• Are you skilled in financial management and passionate about securing resources to drive impactful programs?
• We’re seeking a Finance and Fundraising Officer to lead our financial operations and develop sustainable fundraising strategies to support our mission of advancing SDG 4, 8, and 10.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the organization’s budget, ensuring transparency and compliance with financial regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and philanthropic organizations.
• Coordinate with program teams to align fundraising goals with program needs.
• Monitor the financial performance of the organization and recommend strategies for sustainability.
• Prepare financial reports for internal use and for donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Identify funding opportunities and develop compelling grant proposals to secure resources for programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial management, fundraising, or grant writing.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting tools and donor management systems is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders and secure funding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting proposals and donor communications.
