Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Assist the Head of FinCon in developing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing costs and profitability to make informed Management decisions.

Key Deliverables

  • Performance Reporting.
  • Assist in preparation and updating of Fixed Assets register and schedule.
  • Monthly depreciation and Amortization.
  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledgers.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  • Support the finance team in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Assist in preparation and rendition of returns.
  • Monthly filing of VAT and WHT.
  • Ensure timely remittance of regulatory deductions.
  • Preparation of Rent and other relevant schedules.
  • Assist in Monthly review of bank statements.
  • Assist in Preparation of Financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in Treasury Management.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head, Financial Control.

Requirements

  • HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Finance / Accounting discipline from a reputable institution.
  • ACA / ACCA certification.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Time management.
  • Self-management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Finance/Accounting experience in a similar Institution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attentive to detail.
  • Effective negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent use of MS Excel and other MS packages.
