Job Title: Financial Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • Cola Solar is seeking a highly skilled Financial Supervisor to support our expanding operations.
  • The ideal candidate is smart, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of maintaining strong financial controls while ensuring accuracy across all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Banking & Compliance:

  • Liaise with banks for transfers, deposits, account queries, documentation, and reconciliations.
  • Interface with government agencies regarding tax, pension, statutory remittances, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control frameworks.

Financial Operations:

  • Manage accounts payables and receivables efficiently.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations across all branches and company accounts.
  • Track, validate, and reconcile sales reports and payments.
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports for management decision-making.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain complete and audit-ready financial records.
  • Support both internal and external audits.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial updates to the Finance Manager and Management Team.

Requirements

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA is compulsory).
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with a high sense of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) will be an added advantage, but is not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of payables, receivables, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting tools/software (Zoho Books, Excel, etc.).
