Job Title: Fullstack Developer

Location: Omole Phase 2, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: 1 or 2 days onsite (Hybrid)

Job Summary

• FMR Agency is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to join our client-dynamic team in the international shipping and logistics industry.
• The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain web applications that streamline our logistics operations, support global trade, and optimize the supply chain process.
• You will work on both the front-end and back-end of our systems, ensuring seamless integration of services and robust data management for international shipping workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Fullstack Development: Design and implement scalable web applications that serve the needs of international logistics, including shipping management, tracking systems, and automated documentation.
• Frontend Development: Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) that enhance user experience across devices.
• Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET, ensuring efficient data handling, API integrations, and secure connections with third-party services.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deployment, scaling, and managing distributed applications and services in a global context.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, operations specialists, and QA teams to understand shipping workflows and deliver optimal digital solutions.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure application reliability, security, and performance in a high-demand international environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep our solutions innovative and competitive.
• API Integration: Integrate and manage external APIs (e.g., customs clearance, shipping providers, freight forwarding systems) to automate and enhance international logistics processes.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to handle large-scale global shipping data and transactional processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience preferably in shipping, logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.

Salary
N250,000 net per month + other benefits.
