We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Chef

Location: Bompai, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Duties and Responsibilities

• Controlling and directing the food preparation in the process
• Approving and polishing dishes before they reach the customer
• Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
• Must stay updated on manual handling techniques
• Knowledge of control of substances hazardous to health regulation (COSHH) and chemical safety
• Communicate clearly and work with the team framework seamlessly
• Ensure any work produced in the kitchen passes through quality control
• Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around
• Supervision of junior kitchen staff members.
• Creating menu items, and recipes and developing dishes ensure variety and quality
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking, and ordering
• Ultimately responsible for health and safety
• Being responsible for food hygiene practices
• Level 2 health and safety required

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree with 3-5 years experience.

Salary Range
N180,000 - N200,000 / Month
