Job Overview

Responsibilities & Duties

• Designing and overseeing the construction of highway and transportation projects.
• Conducting site visits to evaluate existing conditions and determine project requirements.
• Conducting quality control and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Providing technical support and guidance to other engineers and staff.
• Staying informed of industry developments and new technologies.
• Preparing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Collaborating with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Managing and reviewing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Sc, B.Eng , Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in highway engineering, transportation planning, or related field
• Specialization in transportation engineering.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Strong technical knowledge of highway design, construction, and maintenance
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant software and technology, such as AutoCAD and project management software
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Knowledge of latest industry trends and technologies
