Cometstar Manufacturing Company Limited is a member of Cometstar Group. It was incorporated in Nigeria on the 25th day of February, 2005 under Company & Allied Matters Act, 1990 of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Our company is wholly owned by Nigerians. We started production in April 2006 in our ultra-modern cable manufacturing factory located at Agbara Industrial Estate - about two kilometers from Badagry Expressway, Agbara, Ogun State, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HOD, Internal Audit

Location: Agbara, Ogun

Responsibilities

• Perform and control full audit cycle over departmental operations, effectiveness and financial reliability.
• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
• Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation and previous reports
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to Management and ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Maintain open communication with management and audit staff
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s intervention
• Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statues
• Evaluate internal control and make recommendations for improvement
• Identifying shortfalls or gaps in processes
• Promote ethics and help identify improper conduct
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.

Educational Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a minimum of B.Sc / HND qualification in Accounting
• Must be Computer Literate
• A minimum of 7 years experience in Auditing.
