We are recruiting to fill the position below:   Job Title: HR Manager - Manufacturing Location: Shagamu, Ogun
Purpose
  • To be the HR Business Partner to the manager and the management team where the entire career cycle and projects are executed and translated into strategic HR initiatives and Actions.
Job Overview and Duties Onboarding:
  • Advocate for change
  • Assist in the Development of Organizational Communication Initiatives
  • Provide fact-based Analysis to HR Issues in support of the Business
  • Policy Development, Interpretations and Administration
  • Work with group HR on Projects and Implementation of new initiatives, while Managing Projects on an as needed basis
  • Develop work force strategy in support of business strategy and support line managers in forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements (P2 Grid)
  • Mapping out the key competencies needed to support the business and ensure the appropriate training intervention is executed
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to senior leaders and managers when appropriate
  • Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns
  • Be the CSR Ambassador and Engage the Organization Culture towards that direction
  • Strategic HR Business Partner to the Management Team (Commercial, Group Supply Chain)
  • Develop the Complete People Strategy for Nigeria
  • Analyze the Business Needs and provide HR Solutions
  • Work with Managers on Employee Development
  • Assist Managers to address Employee Problems in both Commercial and Group Supply Chain Corporate Environment
  • Investigate Problems, escalated or Reported grievances and complaints and recommend the appropriate Solutions
  • Manage External Supplier on the HR spectrum
  • Represent Nigeria in Conferences and Other Meetings
  • Maintain knowledge of Best HR Practices
  • Assist the Management Team with the Implementation of Annual Performance Reviews, Compensation Processes, etc
  • Counsel and Coach Managers in their dealing with Performance Problems and Employee Matters
  • Provide counseling to Employees with Questions or Complaints
  • Knowledgeable of Benefits, Compensation, and Employee Development Practices
  • Provide Training, and People Development Plans
  • Conduct Difficult discussions with empathy
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or other related field
  • 6 to 10 years of Progressive HR Experience in a Consumer Products Organization (preferably)
  • Clear Comprehensive understanding of the link between HR and Business Strategies
  • Ability to Identify new ways for HR to support the Business and the Managers in Charge
  • Empathy is essential and through Team-work to collaborate with Multinational and Multicultural Teams
