New Foundation for Displaced Persons (NFDP) is a non-governmental organization established under the Nigeria law dedicated to providing crucial support to individuals displaced by insurgency and crises to survival, recover and rebuild their lives.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Human Resource Assistant

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documents are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Respond and comply to any assigned duty in the organization
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing company events and training sessions.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and organizing orientation sessions.
  • Help with payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.

Academic Qualification

  • B.Sc., Business Administration, Economics and any related field
  • Minimum of 2 year experience in NGO.

Specific Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Good university degree from a reputable university
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • High level competence in computer skills (Microsoft office Applications).
  • Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
