Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our hospitality team.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist skills, experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment, and a solid understanding of payroll administration, overtime calculations, and performance management. ACIPM certification is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Handle employee relations and support staff welfare initiatives.
  • Implement and support performance management processes, including appraisals and staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Prepare HR reports for management as required.
  • Support daily HR operations including attendance, leave, and disciplinary management.
  • Accurately calculate overtime, shift allowances, and other payroll-related components.
  • Administer payroll processes and ensure timely salary payments.
  • Maintain updated employee records and HR documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability tomanage multiple tasks.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws.
  • ACIPM certification is an added advantage.
  • 2 - 3 years HR experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
  • Proficient in payroll administration, overtime calculation, and shift rosters.
  • Experience in performance management and HR reporting.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N250,000 – N300,000 (Net) / Month.
  • Benefits: HMO, Pension
