Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Officer

Location: Trans Amadi - Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports to: HR Manager

Job Scope

• The HR Officer will support the HR department in implementing policies, managing employee relations, and handling day-to-day HR operations.
• This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of HR generalist experience who is eager to grow their career in human resources within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Coordinate training and development programs.
• Prepare HR reports and documentation as required.
• Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Handle employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Assist in performance management and appraisal processes.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR officer role.
• Familiarity with HR best practices and compliance requirements.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HR processes and Nigerian labor laws.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software tools.
• High attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
