Job Title: Information Communication Technology (ICT) Officer

About the Person

• You are an experienced ICT personnel with a solid ICT background.
• You have one to three years experience in the ICT support role.
• You understand the core functionality of our business and the Educational industry
• You consistently keep up-to-date with advancements/trends in Education Technology.
• You can deliver support and change to meet the requirements of the school, and provide innovative solutions and robust technology in line with international standards.
• You are determined professional willing to act as a change agent.
• You have excellent customer service and promote a positive team spirit.

Skills, Experience & Attributes Sought

• TQ level 4, Microsoft Certification IT Professional level 4 or equivalent qualification or experience in an ICT related discipline.
• A sound general ICT background with knowledge of industry standard desktop application software (such as MS Office) and hardware.
• Knowledge and experience of ICT Curriculum and instruction
• Aware of server load implications
• Understand how the overall technical requirements of the school should support the use of IT in the curriculum and management of the school.
• Knowledge of how E-learning can support the implementation of the curriculum in schools.
• Extensive practical knowledge of the relevant Windows operating systems
• Extensive knowledge of Windows 2010 File Server Networks.
• Excellent knowledge of ICT initiatives and developments in schools.
• Full working knowledge and understanding of the range of relevant policies / codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation, including those relating to compliance with the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
