We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Intern Physiotherapist Location: Lagos

Job Description

Assist the Physiotherapy team to devise and review treatment programs, comprising manual therapy, movement, therapeutic exercise and the application of technological equipment, e.g. ultrasound.
Assessment and rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal and other referred cases
Attend clinical training sessions as expected
Monitors patient flow in the treatment rooms to ensure that all patient are receiving treatments as close to scheduled treatment times as possible
Receive all new referrals and clerk them before presenting to the senior physiotherapist

Keep all documentation and medical notes up to date
Work with patients to identify and improve their movement and function; helps promote their patients' health and well-being; assists the rehabilitation process by developing and restoring body systems in particular the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems as directed by a senior therapist
Observe and report on the condition, conduct, and progress of patients to the senior physiotherapist

Qualification and Experience

Education requirements: a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy / Medical Rehabilitation (BPT/BMR)
Must have provisional accreditation of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Registration) Board of Nigeria (MRTB)
Work experience: At least 0-1 year as a physiotherapist with good knowledge of preventive and rehabilitative medicine techniques in clinical cases such as injuries, physical diseases and disability
Working knowledge of Microsoft office Suite, EMR and other related software.
